An idea becomes a product.
A student becomes an entrepreneur.
And “I’m not sure I can” slowly becomes “Look what I did.”

At the Children’s Business Fair, students get to create, problem-solve, talk with customers, make decisions, and take real ownership of something they built.

Yes, they’re learning about business.

But they’re also learning to trust their ideas, use their voice, take a risk, and keep going.

That kind of confidence doesn’t come from being told you can do something.

It grows when you actually get the chance to do it.

Come see these young entrepreneurs in action!

📅 Sunday, Nov. 15
⏰ 1-4 p.m.
📍 Mid-South Gifted Academy | 220 S Center St, Collierville, TN 38017

One of the things we’re most proud of at MSGA is the community our students build for one another.

They encourage each other. They share what they know. They step into leadership naturally. And across ages, they create the kind of school culture where students feel connected, supported, and valued.

At MSGA, relationships are at the center of learning. Our students have opportunities to explore what they’re good at, take meaningful responsibility, and grow into the kind of people who contribute—not someday, but right now.

Because gifted kids need more than harder work.

They need a place where they can be challenged, find their people, build confidence, and become more fully themselves.

Wondering if your child might need something different from school?

Take our Gifted School Fit Quiz and find out whether your child may be ready for a learning environment built for how gifted children actually learn.

Gifted kids are often misunderstood, even by the systems built to teach them💡

They can race ahead in math and still struggle to get words on paper. They can ace the test and still feel completely unchallenged. And sometimes the brightest kid in the room is the one asking to leave school altogether.

At Mid-South Gifted Academy, we see the whole child: the strengths, the struggles, and the spark. 💙

Some of the most meaningful parts of school don’t happen behind a desk.

They happen in the little moments when kids are given more independence, trusted with more responsibility, and given space to simply enjoy being together.

For gifted children, finding a school that offers real academic challenge matters.

But so does finding a place where they can build friendships, grow in confidence, and feel like they belong.

Because school isn’t only about preparing kids for what comes next.

It’s also about giving them a childhood they’ll want to remember.

Ask any MSGA family who they call first, and you’ll hear one of these four names.

Cheryl Stemmer, Kathy DeFreece, Mickaleen Osborne, and Stacey Rees plan the days, know the kids, and make sure every family feels known.

Advanced learning is only part of the story. Gifted kids also need adults who understand them, challenge them, and let them be their age.

And you need people you can turn to, too. People who welcome your questions, listen to your concerns, and work with you—not around you. At Mid-South Gifted Academy, that partnership is part of your child’s education. 💙
