At Mid-South Gifted Academy, our mission is to develop innovators and world changers by creating educational and enrichment opportunities for children to discover and use their gifts, talents, and passions. Besides our full-time private school program, one of the ways we seek to carry out our mission is through our Young Innovators Camp and Children’s Business Fair which provide opportunities for children to get excited about the creative process of innovation and entrepreneurship! The co-founders and founding families of Mid-South Gifted Academy are a team of passionate entrepreneurs, teachers, mentors, and parents who want our children to learn about entrepreneurship in a practical and fun way.

What is the Acton Children’s Business Fair?
The Acton Children’s Business Fair inspires children to discover their inner entrepreneur. The largest entrepreneurship event for kids in North America, this one-day market gives children the opportunity to showcase their very own businesses. Kids ages 6-17 develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at our one-day marketplace.
How do I apply? Can I apply as part of a group?
Applications must be submitted online. Please submit one application for each business. Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information. No more than 3 participants per business. To be notified when we announce the next CBF, send an email to email@example.com or join the Mid-South Children’s Business Fair Facebook group.
Prize money will be awarded to winners in each age group for the following categories:
- Most Original Business Idea
- Highest Business Potential
- Best Presentation / Creativity
The age groups are 6-8, 9-12, 13-17
