MSGA At-A-Glance
We are a mastery-based school dedicated to intellectually gifted learners. Our guides work with students to build personalized learning plans that cater to each student’s strengths and interests. Our passionate and experienced educators inspire, coach, and equip gifted students to become the best version of themselves. Our curriculum is challenging, with advanced academic goals and opportunities for acceleration in areas of strength. In our multi-age studios, students can work up to three grade levels above their current level, providing challenges and support as they develop their potential. We also prioritize teaching social and emotional skills, ensuring holistic development.

Our educational approach allows them the time to explore their interests, supported by adults who believe in them, in an environment that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and risk-taking. Traditional systems often disengage gifted learners, but at MSGA, we ask, “What could your child learn if there were no limits?“
Our learning approach is active, relevant, and transferable, guiding children to become critical thinkers who challenge the status quo. Our students engage in activities like reading, writing, thinking, discussing, questioning, researching, goal-setting, reflecting, designing, exploring, playing, creating, experimenting, collaborating, and problem-solving. Standard subjects are integrated into personalized, project-based learning opportunities through Reading, Writing, and Math Workshops, personal goal-setting, student blogging, Academic Choice, and Socratic discussions. Our students also use the latest adaptive technologies for personalized learning at their own pace.
Throughout the year, students tackle in-depth units of study and projects that address real-world problems. These lessons incorporate aspects of past and future innovations, helping students understand solutions within a social framework based on society’s needs. Community leaders, innovators, scientists, and real-world practitioners often participate, reinforcing the relevance of discovery and its application in daily life. Each academic quarter culminates in our Presentations of Learning, where students showcase their learning to parents and community members.
