When someone comes to work at MSGA, they are promp

When someone comes to work at MSGA, they are prompted to ask three people close to them but in different ways- “If I were going to save your life with only one strength that I have, what would it be? How would I do it?” This was compiled last year and hung in the kitchen as a reminder to our guides how many strengths they have collectively. These strengths have never been more appreciated!

Sound on! That is the sound of JOYFUL LEARNING as our students code and race their very own #sphero Robots.

At Mid-South Gifted Academy we believe that our students should be more than just passive listeners. Our desire is that all #giftedchildren would be active learners, and that school would be a place where learning is both fun and challenging.

These Bluetooth-enabled spherical robots are equipped with a gyroscope, sensors, and an accelerometer. Using an app, the students can code and program the robot to drive, play, and even race!

The reality is that our kids live in an era of technology that we could have only dreamed of. As society continues to advance, we are dedicated to giving our students the most up-to-date education and experiences with science, technology, engineering, and math.
