Our Speech and Debate team had an incredible weekend at the Dragon Invitational, bringing home awards in both speech and debate events! These talented students continue to amaze us with their hard work, quick thinking, and ability to perform under pressure.
In the speech events, Anna stood out with a 4th place finish in Informative Speaking, delivering a well-crafted and engaging presentation. Meanwhile, Emrys and Caitlyn showcased their creativity and teamwork, earning 4th place in Duo Improvisational.
The debate teams also had a stellar performance. Scott and Aaron secured 2nd place in Public Forum Debate, demonstrating sharp analytical skills and persuasive arguments. In the middle school division, Stanley and David captured 2nd place in Public Forum Debate, proving that our younger debaters are a force to be reckoned with!
We’re so proud of our team’s accomplishments at the Dragon Invitational and can’t wait to see what they achieve next. Go, Trailblazers!
